What it is
A browser VR game that lets you see a house through the eyes of a cat.
Walk around the kitchen, hallway, stairs and garden, look up at furniture that suddenly
towers over you, and do what cats do best: cause a bit of chaos. It's another
animal-themed Three.js + Immersive Web SDK (IWSDK) project, following
my VR animal playground and VR horse box.
Chaos points
Every mischievous act earns Chaos Points, and a checklist of cat goals
keeps you busy: knock ten things onto the floor, smash the flower vase, scatter toy
horses, drop something in the toilet, play notes on the piano and catch butterflies in
the garden. There are calmer goals too—climb to the top of the cat tree, sit in the
cardboard box, get on top of the fridge, nap on the sofa or your bed, and eat from your
food bowl (nom nom nom). A high score gives you something to beat.
First or third person
Play from the cat's own eyes in VR, or press V on desktop to switch to
a third-person view and watch your tabby prowl through the grass, tail up. The house is
filled with small details to discover, from the fridge covered in family notes to a
pair of slippers left in the hallway.
